Who is Rev. August Gold?
August Gold is the Founder and Spiritual Director of Sacred Center New York. She is the author of the award-winning children's books, Where Does God Live?, Does God Hear My Prayer?, Will God Forgive Me? (SkyLight Paths) and forthcoming books, What Do I Call God? (Penguin/Putnam) and The Prayer Chest (Doubleday Religion). She appears regularly on The Hallmark Channel. Since 1989 she’s been teaching cutting-edge spirituality in New York City and speaking nationwide.

Who are the other Ministers?
Sacred Center New York is blessed with a dedicated ministerial staff, they are: Revs. Carol Logen,
Music Minister; Joel Fotinos, Communications Minister; and Cheryle Robinson, Community Minister.

In addition, our Affiliated Ministers participate in the service, offer prayer support, conduct workshops, lead support groups, and officiate weddings and ceremonies.

Can I get Spiritual Guidance at Sacred Center?
Yes. Appointments for spiritual guidance can be arranged by contacting the Church office.

What about Prayer Support?
Ministers are available to pray with you individually right after our Sunday Service. Also, there is a
Prayer chest in the lobby that is available for your written prayers. We will hold your prayer in
consciousness for thirty days. If you have a prayer need during the week, feel free to call the Church office and there will be a Minister available to pray with you during office hours.

Are children welcome at Sacred Center?
They are not only welcome, they are greeted with a special joy.

Rev. August is available right after service for a brief hello, as are our Affiliated Ministers and Stewards during the Social Hour. To reach all the staff ministers at other times, please feel free to contact the Church office.
